Politics Should Be A Friendly Game - OBA says

A leading governorship aspirant in Akwa Ibom State, Senator Bassey Albert Akpan (OBA) says politics should be a friendly game and should not  generate bad blood among  brothers and sisters.

Reacting to the decision of Nsit Ubium PDP exco to deny him access to consult the delegates, OBA said such negative attitude was not necessary since aspirants should be assessed based on their programmes.

He again called on the party leaders to ensure peace and even playing field for all aspirants.

Engr Nkeruwem Ekanem, the former Secretary to Government to State Government, called on Nsit Ubium people to support OBA because he has not been found wanting in all his assignments.

He said the Senator’s pedigree speak for him as his achievements as commissioner and quality of contributions at the senate stand him out.

Ekanem said it makes no sense in a democracy to stop other aspirants from marketing their programmes by consulting the delegates.
