REVEALED! How BCS Is Secretly Investing In Humans, Sets Stage for Universal Celebration of Leader Obu

 By Ndifreke Usen

Brotherhood of the Cross and Star (BCS) has reiterated its commitment to humanitarian efforts as it unveiled plans for the 2024 Universal Celebration of the Divine Manifestation of its leader, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu.

This was made known during a press briefing held at the BCS Cathedral on Abak Road, Uyo, on Saturday, and addressed by the BCS Spokesman, PCS Amah Williams.

Speaking at the event, Williams enumerated the numerous charitable undertakings of the Brotherhood of the cross and star under the leadership of His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu. These include the establishment of the Mother Elizabeth Redeemed Home, a state-of-the-art orphanage with a capacity for 400 children, described as "the largest purpose-built orphanage in Nigeria." The facility, he noted, stands as "a quintessence of care and a symbol of hope for vulnerable children."

In the area of education, the spokesman revealed that BCS has established several primary and secondary schools, ensuring affordable fees to provide quality education to the less privileged. Over 200 undergraduates are currently benefitting from scholarships funded by the organization, while countless others have been sponsored for studies in Europe, Russia, South Africa, and the United States. Plans for a BCS University, designed to provide top-tier education at affordable rates, are also underway.

"His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu exemplifies love and charity, urging all to bear one another's burdens and practice blameless love," Williams stated. He added that the leader's contributions extend to community development, moral support, and financial assistance to institutions such as the Nigerian Police and civil society organizations.

The Spokesman also used the event to announce the week-long activities lined up for the celebration, which begins on Monday, November 18, 2024, at the BCS World Headquarters in Calabar, Cross River State. Events will include the commissioning of a cathedral at Ikot Ekitat, Nsit Ubium LGA, super morning prayers, the Feast of the Lamb, global evangelism, free medical services, and a thanksgiving service.

According to him, the main celebration on Wednesday, November 20, will feature charity works such as an open kitchen offering free meals and other outreach programs. Highlighting the event’s spiritual significance, Williams described it as a commemoration of the "physical manifestation of the King of kings and Lord of lords," linking it to biblical prophecies and divine revelations.

While addressing recent controversies involving the Brotherhood, Williams clarified issues surrounding a court dispute with members of the New Kingdom Ministry over a property at No 2 Nsikak Eduok Avenue, Uyo. He noted that the Akwa Ibom State High Court ruled in favour of BCS, affirming its ownership of the property and dismissing the case against it.

Williams emphasized that such distractions have no bearing on the commitment of the BCS to spreading the message of love and peace, urging the public to focus on the organization’s efforts to foster unity and development.

"We invite the world to celebrate the Divine Manifestation of the One whom Daniel called the Son of Man, the One Isaiah described as the Mighty God and Prince of Peace. This event is not just a celebration but a call to embrace humility, love, and divine teachings," he concluded.

The activities, themed "Unshakeable King of Glory, Unshakeable Kingdom," will culminate on Sunday, November 24, 2024, with a grand thanksgiving service, bringing together faithful and well-wishers from across the globe.
